The Gustinos wheat flour dough granules / pellets in this 227g pack are a delicious snack for deep-frying. Here in the Cuadro shape (rectangular shape). They are hard when unfried and have an orange color that changes as soon as they are fried in your deep fryer or in a pan. They then look more like light-colored crab chips and can be crisped up. They are also vegetarian, sugar-free and fat-free, as long as they are not deep-fried in fat (they can be thinly coated with oil and prepared in a hot air fryer).
Gustinos can be enjoyed after the frying process, for example with lime and chili powder or salsa. Gustinos is a leading company in the field of snack pasta products and has been around in Mexico since the 1970s/80s.
