Spicyness:

Achiote paste is the key to preparing national dishes of Mexico, and this marinade is designed to make the perfect "pastor" meat for tacos. The liquid marinade is made with annatto seeds, herbs, spices and vinegar. Achiote is perfect for adding color and a flavor kick to any marinade. It is made for tacos and a great taste sensation for hamburgers as well. Use the salsa on more beef, pork or poultry to give it that Mexican "Al Pastor" touch.

Recipe

Tacos al Pastor

Before you start:
Attention, you will first prepare a marinade here and in between the meat will be marinated for at least 4 hours or gladly a little longer for your perfect taste. So bring time for the preparation and plan a waiting time.

Ingredients
1 kilo of pork or chicken, cut into fillets
Salt and pepper to season the meat
100 gr. La Anita Marinador al Pastor
100 ml of pineapple juice
1 medium white onion cut into slices
1 can of sliced pineapple
1 bunch of medium cilantro, washed and finely chopped
Several corn tortillas
1 medium onion, finely diced
A good hot sauce of your choice

Preparation
Season the meat with salt and pepper.

2. put "La Anita" Marinador and the pineapple juice in a blender to obtain a thick liquid.

3. place the steaks in a large bowl and mix further with the previously blended mixture.

4. marinate the meat preferably with the help of a pastry brush and apply the spices on each side of the fillets.

5 - Rest: leave to marinate for at least 4 hours or better overnight.

6 - Cut the meat as for skewers, put it on a skewer with slices of onion and pineapple in between.

7 - Heat the pan and add 1 - 2 tablespoons of oil until hot.

8. cook for about 12-15 minutes, turning on each side so they brown evenly.

Note: You can also cook the meat on your gas or charcoal grill.

9. after cooking, slice the meat thinly and prepare the tacos with warm tortillas, chopped onions, cilantro, pineapple and your choice of salsa, which you are sure to find here in the store.

Über Nacht mariniert und dann schön langsam auf dem Spies gegrillt, dann wird es sehr gut und die Erinnerung an den letzten Aufenthalt in Mexico sind wieder da.
