This original Mexican Reposado from Tequila Casa Herradura. Reposado was introduced to the world in 1974 and has since set the standard as the Mexican specialty among tequilas.

Aged a generous 11 months longer than the industry norm, Reposado has a rich amber color with notes of cooked agave, vanilla and butter. A soft, sweet finish with a slight taste of spice is provided by this extra time spent in charred American white oak barrels.

Recipe for a La Ciudad cocktail

INGREDIENTS

- 2 parts Tequila Herradura

- ½ share sweet vermouth

- ½ share ancho chile liqueur

- 3 dashes of dark chocolate

PREPARATION
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice.

Stir and strain into a coupe glass.

Garnish with two brandy cherries.
